Dribbble has long been one of the key meeting points of the design world. Beyond being a platform where designers and agencies showcase their work, today it is a global creative marketplace where companies from around the world can discover creative teams and connect with the right design partners for their projects.

Our relationship with Dribbble, however, goes back to before WLITZ was founded.

As co-founders, while working together at the same agency, we were also taking on freelance projects and sharing our work on Dribbble. As we began meeting clients from different countries and taking on new projects through the platform, what started as freelance work gradually grew into something more. We started working on more projects together, and this way of working became an important part of the journey that eventually led us to establish WLITZ.

Over the years, WLITZ grew; the brands we worked with, our team, and the scale of our projects evolved. Dribbble, meanwhile, remained one of the channels where we shared our work and connected with new clients.

That is why being recognized by Dribbble today among agencies that stand out for strong client relationships and ongoing collaborations is particularly meaningful to us.

A Good Portfolio Delivers More Than Visibility

One of the most obvious benefits Dribbble offers a design studio is visibility. In our experience, however, the platform’s real impact is less about how many people we reach and more about who we reach.

When a client discovers WLITZ through Dribbble, even if it is their first encounter with us, they usually already have an idea of who we are. They have seen our previous work, understand the areas we work in, and have formed an initial impression of our approach to design.

That is why, rather than publishing as many projects as possible on Dribbble, we focus on sharing work that accurately represents WLITZ and the kind of work we want to do.

When showcasing our work across digital products, UX/UI, branding, and experience design, we aim to communicate not only the visual outcome, but also the scope of the project and the problem we set out to solve.

Because a good portfolio does more than show what you have done in the past. It also communicates the kind of work you want to do in the future and the kind of design partner you are.

From Visibility to the Right Clients

Dribbble’s evolution over the years has made this even more important.

Today, the platform is no longer simply a place where design professionals follow each other’s work. Companies can use Dribbble to discover UI/UX designers and design agencies, review their portfolios, and connect with the right teams for their projects.

For an agency, this means that a well-curated Dribbble profile can offer more than just additional views. It allows potential clients to get to know the agency before they even make contact.

We often see the impact of this in our first conversations. Clients who reach out to us through Dribbble usually already know which project caught their attention, which of our services they are interested in, or what kind of work they are looking for.

As a result, the first conversation can begin with the client’s needs and what we could create together, rather than with the question, “What does WLITZ do?”

For us, that is where the difference of a qualified lead becomes clear.

From the First Project to Long-Term Collaboration

The impact of meeting the right client goes beyond simply winning a new project.

Once we start working together, we gain a deeper understanding of the client’s brand, product, users, and business goals. At the same time, the client becomes familiar with the way we work, our processes, and our approach to design.

When there is a good fit, the common ground established during the first project creates a much stronger foundation for the projects that follow. Some of the client relationships that began through Dribbble have developed into new projects and ongoing collaborations over time, which is one of the reasons the platform has continued to be valuable to us over the years.

From this perspective, defining Dribbble’s value to an agency simply as “finding clients” would be incomplete. For us, its real value lies in presenting our work in the right way so that the right clients—the ones who want to work with us—can discover WLITZ.

From Dribbble to Where We Are Today

WLITZ’s relationship with Dribbble began during our freelance years. The projects we found through the platform helped us develop the way we worked together and played a role in the journey that eventually led to the creation of WLITZ.

Today, Dribbble remains one of the channels where we share our work and connect with new clients from around the world.

Having once used the platform to find freelance projects, and now being recognized there as WLITZ among agencies that stand out for the work they produce and the client relationships they build, feels like a fitting continuation of that journey.

Our approach, however, has not changed much since the beginning: create good work, present it well, and keep working with the right people.
